Findekáno (Fingon) is the eldest son of Fingolfin and Anairë. He followed his father when Fingolfin followed Fëanor to Endorë, but it Fingon who wanted to go because of his friendship with Maedhros, and his own need for adventure.

After the burning of the ships, even before knowing that Maedhros had stood aside, Fingon remembered their friendship and decided to save him. That he did with Thorondor's help, and after being forced to cut Maedhros' right hand.

Fingon became the High King of the Noldor in exile after his father died in single combat with Morgoth. He was given Hithlum, and from his seat he did the best he could to protect the realm. He visited Maedhros often. Fingon died at the Battle of Unnumbered Tears, and when Maedhros committed suicide found him in the Halls.

Findekáno is a skilled warrior and loyal friend. He loves his family, and would like to see them reunited one day. He can be rash, though his death has made him slightly cautious.
